Medical Technician Full Time

About the Role

The Medical Technician maintains a safe and clean working environment while adhering to laboratory, hospital, and regulatory policies. This role involves generating and reporting results to influence patient care using critical thinking and independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Generate and report results for accurate diagnoses
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and complete quality control
• Utilize critical thinking to correlate and interpret data
• Ensure timely result reporting, including critical results
• Handle and resolve customer inquiries about laboratory results
• Participate in new associate and student training

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, biological, clinical, or medical laboratory science
• Completion of an ABHES or CAAHEP-approved clinical laboratory training program
• 1+ year of related work experience preferred
