About the Role

As a Medical Office Representative, you will be responsible for greeting patients, managing their information, and facilitating a smooth patient experience. Your role will involve collaboration with clinical partners to enhance overall service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately.
  • Welcome patients and update their demographic and insurance information.
  • Register patients for services and ensure accurate billing.
  • Maintain clear communication with clinical partners regarding patient needs.
  • Facilitate timely discharge and maximize reimbursement.
  • Promote a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate's degree in Health Services Administration or related field preferred.
  • 1+ years of customer service experience in a medical office setting preferred.
  • Ability to understand medical terminology and coding.
  • Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) preferred.
