Critical Care Tech Full Time Nights

About the Role

As a Critical Care Tech, you will be responsible for providing essential patient care in a clinical setting during night shifts. Your role involves directly assisting nursing staff and ensuring patient safety and comfort while performing various technical and clinical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform treatments according to policy and procedures.
• Provide patient care appropriate to age, mobility, acuity, and culture.
• Assist in the delivery of patient care as a team member under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Document and report all procedures per department policy.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Basic Life Support – CPR Certification (BLS)
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant (CPCT/A) or Emergency Medical Tech Certification (EMT)
• 1+ year of applicable Patient Care Technician experience preferred
• Previous bedside patient care experience in an acute care unit preferred

Compensation

• Base pay: $19.19 - $30.71/hr
