APP Neuro Joint & Spine

About the Role

As an APP Neuro Joint & Spine provider, you will be instrumental in managing post-operative orthopedic and neurosurgery patients. Your role includes collaborating with surgeons and participating in multidisciplinary rounds to ensure optimal recovery for patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily rounding, assessment, and management of post-operative ortho and neurosurgery patients
• Evaluate and manage medical co-morbidities and post-surgical complications
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds for discharge planning and throughput
• Assist with floor admissions and transfers for the service line
• Respond to clinical and documentation queries in a timely manner

Requirements

• Graduate of an MSN or DNP Nurse Practitioner Program or PA-C Program
• Full Federal and State Prescriptive Authority
• Current ACLS Certification
• Colorado Medical License and current DEA Licensure
• 2 years of orthopedic or spine APP experience preferred
