APP Gastroenterology - Parker, CO

About the Role

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking an APP to provide comprehensive care, support, and education to patients through all aspects of their gastroenterology medical and surgical care. The APP will be a key member of the GI team identifying and meeting the physical and emotional needs of patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical examinations for outpatient visits
• Order and interpret test results
• Coordinate the multidisciplinary plan of care
• Provide education to patients and families about treatment plans
• Write orders and prescriptions and make referrals to specialists
• Work in collaboration with other APPs and physicians

Requirements

• Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License
• Full Prescriptive Authority
• Master's Degree
• 2+ years of GI experience preferred
