About the Role
The Senior Geotechnical Engineer will oversee geotechnical engineering efforts for infrastructure transportation projects. This role requires strong technical skills and the ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to identify problems and develop solutions.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for engineering assignments in support of Kiewit Corporation business
- Support bid phase development of innovative and cost-effective design
- Identify key design risks during the bid phase and develop mitigation plans
- Develop design recommendations and produce design deliverables on design-build projects
- Capture and spread design lessons learned to all Districts
- Train and develop junior engineers
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 15+ years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience
- Registration as a Professional Engineer in the U.S.
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering and technical solutions
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to travel to project sites
