About the Role

In this role, you'll be responsible for the efficient organization and effectiveness of specimen procurement and processing. You'll provide age-appropriate specimen collection services and ensure high-quality care for all patients.

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility for efficient specimen procurement and processing.
• Provide age-appropriate services in specimen collection.
• Answer inquiries regarding specimen collection and processing timelines.
• Interface with other hospital departments and medical offices.
• Obtain blood specimens with quality service and perform general laboratory duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
• Completion of a Certified Phlebotomy program preferred.
• Basic computer skills are necessary.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
