Dietary Assistant PRN

About the Role

This role involves verifying patient diet orders and passing food trays to patients. Under the supervision of the Supervisor and Patient Service Manager, the dietary assistant performs various food service duties to ensure a high level of customer service and safety.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient diet orders
• Pass food trays to patients
• Complete sanitation duties
• Assist with dish room duties
• Maintain effective communication
• Follow food safety and sanitation protocols

Requirements

• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Knowledgeable in food handling and safety
• Ability to read and write English
• Computer skills preferred
• Strong customer service skills
• Familiarity with therapeutic diets
