About the Role
This full-time role provides direct patient care in a medical or physician office setting using the nursing process. The nurse plans, implements and evaluates care plans, coordinates across disciplines and educates patients and families.
Responsibilities
- Plans, implements and evaluates patient care plans based on assessment to optimize outcomes
- Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate
- Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, transfer, discharge and referral
- Evaluates learning needs and provides patient and family education
- Effectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel and may precept new hires
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years experience
- State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 6 months of nursing experience
- BLS Healthcare Provider with card in-hand before start date
