Medical Technologist I

About the Role

This role involves working night shifts and requires rotating holiday and weekend coverage. The Medical Technologist I must ensure that laboratory tests are conducted accurately and efficiently, while adhering to standard operating procedures and quality control measures.

Responsibilities

• Reporting accurate results and evaluating their clinical significance.
• Ensuring quality control and maintaining instrumentation.
• Minimizing and documenting errors in a timely manner.
• Performing laboratory functions according to regulatory guidelines.
• Troubleshooting equipment and assay performance.
• Training and mentoring new employees and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in a relevant field.
• Medical Technologist or Medical Laboratory Scientist license.
• Ability to obtain licensure within six months of hire.
