About the Role

This full-time role provides direct patient care in the Progressive Care Unit on a rotating day and night schedule. The nurse delivers top of scope practice in a technically complex environment using the nursing process.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care in the Progressive Care Unit in a technically complex environment
• Uses the nursing process to achieve exceptional patient outcomes
• Values a multidisciplinary team approach
• Models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth
• Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• 6 months of ICU or PCU nursing experience or completion of the UCHealth Fellowship program
• ACLS and BLS certification
