RN Infusion

About the Role

This position involves working in a fast-paced environment where critical thinking skills are essential. You will be responsible for monitoring patient conditions and coordinating care across disciplines to optimize patient outcomes. This role requires effective delegation and education of patients and their families regarding their treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care related to infusion services based on patient assessment.
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition and collaborates across disciplines.
• Evaluates learning needs of patient/family and provides appropriate education.
• Effectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel and may precept new hires.
• Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgement to work with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
• State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
