Responsibilities
- Manages Automated Dispensing Machines to ensure unit-specific medication is safely available
- Performs sterile and non-sterile compounding and bulk medication repackaging
- Maintains adherence to safety and regulatory standards
- Conducts regular audits of medication inventory to identify expired items
- Ensures prompt removal and replacement of expired or near-expired medications
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Pharmacy Technician certification from Colorado Board of Pharmacy (PHAT)
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) by PTCB or equivalent
