About the Role

This onsite, PRN role manages automated dispensing machines, performs sterile and non-sterile compounding, and audits medication inventory. It includes a career ladder for moving through different levels as experience grows.

Responsibilities

  • Manages Automated Dispensing Machines to ensure unit-specific medication is safely available
  • Performs sterile and non-sterile compounding and bulk medication repackaging
  • Maintains adherence to safety and regulatory standards
  • Conducts regular audits of medication inventory to identify expired items
  • Ensures prompt removal and replacement of expired or near-expired medications

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Pharmacy Technician certification from Colorado Board of Pharmacy (PHAT)
  • Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) by PTCB or equivalent
