About the Role
This full-time role provides direct patient care under the delegation and supervision of a nurse or healthcare provider. The PCA gathers vital signs, assists with daily living activities and helps keep the care area stocked and orderly.
Responsibilities
- Gathers vital signs, measures blood glucose and measures intake and output
- Assists patients with personal care, activities of daily living and progressive mobility
- Assists to keep the care area stocked, cleaned and orderly
- Models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth
- Contributes to solutions to secure safety and quality at the point of care
Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider within 30 days of hire
