About the Role

This position encompasses providing direct patient care under the supervision of a healthcare provider. The role focuses on enhancing patient wellness and ensuring safety and quality in patient care through effective collaboration with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under nurse supervision
• Gathers vital signs and measures blood glucose
• Performs sterile dressing changes and starts peripheral IVs
• Assists with personal care and activities of daily living
• Keeps care area stocked, cleaned, and orderly

Requirements

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider within 30 days of hire
• Enrolled in an accredited nursing program in good standing
• Proof of enrollment/completion of Med/Surg 1 or equivalent
