Medical Assistant

About the Role

This full-time medical assistant performs routine clinical and administrative duties at the UCHealth Radiation Oncology center in Highlands Ranch. Under provider or nurse direction, the MA assists with patient care, specimen collection and clerical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assists with performing patient care under the direction of a provider or nurse
• Performs basic clinical skills and specimen collection
• Monitors and communicates changes in patient conditions and documents care
• Maintains equipment, medical supplies and examination areas
• Performs administrative duties including scheduling, data entry and patient registration

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
• 3 years of Medical Assistant experience or graduate of an accredited medical assistant program
