Interventional Technologist I

About the Role

This full-time role performs imaging, diagnostic and interventional procedures to diagnose and treat cardiac and vascular conditions, independent of supervision. The technologist assists physicians and acts as a subject matter expert in board-certified care.

Responsibilities

• Performs responsibilities independently and acts as subject matter expert in board-certified care
• Assists physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac and vascular interventional procedures
• Performs and analyzes imaging procedures and resolves image quality issues
• Educates patients regarding procedures and equipment and monitors patient condition
• Prepares equipment, selects exposure factors and performs quality control

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED or graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist or Cardiac Technologist program
• Certified in VI, CI, RCES or RCIS
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months of hire
