About the Role
This full-time role performs imaging, diagnostic and interventional procedures to diagnose and treat cardiac and vascular conditions, independent of supervision. The technologist assists physicians and acts as a subject matter expert in board-certified care.
Responsibilities
- Performs responsibilities independently and acts as subject matter expert in board-certified care
- Assists physicians with diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac and vascular interventional procedures
- Performs and analyzes imaging procedures and resolves image quality issues
- Educates patients regarding procedures and equipment and monitors patient condition
- Prepares equipment, selects exposure factors and performs quality control
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED or graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist or Cardiac Technologist program
- Certified in VI, CI, RCES or RCIS
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 6 months of hire
