CT Xray Technologist

About the Role

In this role, the CT Xray Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures in multiple modalities. The position requires effective communication with patients, families, and other caregivers while ensuring adherence to high safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality imaging using proper diagnostic protocols.
• Acts as first responder during emergencies and provides Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Verifies patient allergies and clinical indications prior to contrast administration.
• Assists Providers with procedures while maintaining technologist Scope of Practice.
• Maintains competency and registry in two or more Radiology disciplines.
• Reports equipment malfunctions promptly.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Radiography program
• Three years of imaging experience
• Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT(R) certification
• Registered Computed Tomography Technologist ARRT(CT) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
