About the Role

This position involves providing conscientious patient care while adhering to all quality and safety standards. Responsibilities include performing administrative duties and maintaining communication with patients and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Produces high quality imaging while accurately demonstrating anatomy and pathology utilizing proper diagnostic imaging protocols.
• Facilitates patient flow daily; to include management of STAT/urgent and high priority patients.
• Provides age-appropriate care and appropriately prepares patients for procedures.
• Operates all imaging equipment; to include ancillary equipment following safety procedures and protocols.
• Maintains competency and registry in two or more Radiology disciplines.
• Acts as first responder and provides Basic Life Support (BLS) until help arrives.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Radiography program
• Three (3) years of imaging experience
• Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT(R)
• Registered Computed Tomography Technologist ARRT(CT)
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider
