About the Role
This position involves providing patient care while adhering to quality and safety standards. Additionally, the technologist performs various administrative duties, communicates with patients and families, and maintains competency in multiple Radiology disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Produces high quality imaging while accurately demonstrating anatomy and pathology utilizing proper diagnostic imaging protocols.
- Acts as first responder and provides Basic Life Support in emergencies.
- Safely administers contrast and ensures proper documentation.
- Communicates clearly and effectively in both verbal and written forms.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Radiography program.
- Three years of imaging experience.
- Certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and Registered Computed Tomography Technologist.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
