Cardiac Sonographer I

About the Role

This position focuses on performing echocardiogram procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics. The Cardiac Sonographer will work independently, ensuring patient understanding and comfort throughout the process while adhering to safety and quality control standards.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and physician's orders.
• Independently performs echocardiography procedures on patients.
• Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.
• Monitors patient condition and reports changes in status.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography program OR Associate’s degree in allied health OR a Bachelor’s degree in any area.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
