Cardiac Sonographer I

About the Role

As a Cardiac Sonographer I, you will be responsible for conducting echocardiography procedures independently. This role requires critical thinking and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician's orders.
• Independently perform echocardiography procedures on patients.
• Select appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes in status.
• Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment.

Requirements

• Registered Sonographer
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
• Registered Cardiovascular Sonographer
• Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography program or related degree
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or equivalent
• 1 year of preferred experience
