Substitute - Program Aide - BASE

About the Role

This role involves implementing program activities that promote skill development and a sense of belonging among children. The Program Aide ensures safety and positive interactions, building healthy relationships through engagement with the children.

Responsibilities

• Implement program activities that provide children with opportunities to learn and develop skills.
• Build healthy relationships with children by actively engaging with them and responding to their unique needs.
• Ensure the safety of children by providing appropriate supervision and guidance at all times.
• Utilize positive techniques to support behavior and promote respectful interactions among children.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School or Equivalent (Required)
• First Aid & CPR Certification - American Heart Association
• Ability to lift between five (5) to fifty (50) pounds occasionally.
• Skills in engaging positively with children.
