About the Role

Wellspring Community, a Castle Rock nonprofit that supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is hiring a part-time van driver (non-CDL) to work a split shift. The driver transports program participants in a 15-passenger van, Monday through Friday, roughly 20 hours a week. Ideal candidates have a heart for nonprofit work and a passion for the I/DD community
  • patience, kindness and a good sense of humor help.
Responsibilities: • Greeting participants in a courteous and pleasant manner • Assisting participants in and out of the vehicle and with securing seatbelts, as necessary • Driving responsibly and abiding by all local and state laws • Keeping the van fueled, maintained and clean • Maintaining a daily transportation log • Completing and submitting all required documentation • Reporting any vehicle malfunctions or incidents to the Transportation Manager Requirements: • Must be 25 years or older • Valid Colorado driver's license • Clean motor vehicle record • Employment contingent on DOT certification, background check and drug screen

Requirements

  • Clean motor vehicle record
  • Employment contingent on obtaining DOT certification and passing a background check and drug screen
  • Non-CDL van (15-passenger)
