Kitchen Assistant - Select Charter

About the Role

This role involves assisting in the preparation, service, and sale of meals while ensuring compliance with all regulations. The Kitchen Assistant is also responsible for creating positive relationships within the community.

Responsibilities

• Pursues opportunities to create positive relationships with the surrounding community.
• Assist in the set up and cleanup of serving areas for timely service to students.
• Assist in the preparation, service, and sale of meals ensuring compliance with department regulations.
• Operate Point of Sale system with accuracy and reconcile monies daily to ensure accuracy.
• Participate in training to include PGI Classes.

Requirements

• High School or Equivalent education.
• Ability to frequently lift forty (40) pounds.
• Skills in following menu and recipe instructions.
• Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.
