Kitchen Assistant

About the Role

The Kitchen Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient preparation and service of meals within the school environment. This position involves following food safety regulations and promoting good community relations among students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the proper set up and cleanup of serving areas.
• Serve meals daily while complying with all school food regulations.
• Independently follow menu and recipe instructions.
• Assist in unloading and proper storage of delivered food items.
• Learn and operate Point of Sale system and reconcile monies daily.
• Participate in training to include PGI Classes.

Requirements

• High School or Equivalent education.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Flexibility in learning new concepts and cooperating with others.
