About the Role

As a classroom teacher, you will plan and deliver the grade level educational program while collaborating with staff to ensure student achievement. This role requires you to create a positive learning environment and manage classroom dynamics effectively.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement instruction consistent with AVA’s curriculum.
• Use methods to assess the abilities and needs of students.
• Maintain necessary student records and establish clear expectations for behavior.
• Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding progress.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to fulfill school goals.
• Demonstrate concern for students’ health and safety.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current Colorado Teaching License/Authorization.
• Previous teaching experience in subject area and/or level desirable.
• Demonstrated knowledge of effective instructional methods.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Strong organization skills.
