About the Role

Responsibilities

- Leads clinical and operational performance across assigned areas and serves as a liaison ensuring clear effective communication, collaboration with other departments to support seamless care coordination
- Exercises leadership, responsibility, and authority independently while investigating complaints and collaborating with other departments to ensure patient care continuity.
- Provides collaborative leadership to maintain consistent safety and service standards supporting the Patient Experience Model.
- Analyzes patient, physician, and employee satisfaction survey data to assist in developing unit action plans.
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, employees, physicians, and department leaders.
- Conducts and attends service line and unit meetings to foster staff communication and teamwork.
- Promotes a safe environment by supervising emergency actions, identifying hazards, and conducting routine unit rounds.
- Ensures adherence to regulatory standards and organizational policies and procedures.
- Develops and manages the annual budget in coordination with Finance, monitoring and adjusting to ensure effective use of resources.
- Utilizes hospital database management and decision support systems to access and analyze data for patient care planning.
- Develops and manages the implementation of department objectives and goals, evaluating processes and ensuring standardized policies are deployed.
- Oversees workforce performance, provides developmental guidance, and allocates decision-making authority to maximize effectiveness.
- Promotes strong frontline leadership, drives professional growth, fosters engagement, and builds high performing, accountable teams
- Recruits, retains, and develops a high-performing nursing leadership workforce, ensuring workforce stability, and developing strong leadership pipelines
- Other duties as assigned.

- Capable of handling multiple priorities with independent discretion and decision-making

- Demonstrates computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and healthcare software systems
- Ability to work irregular hours including call hours
- Maintains sound character and the highest ethical standards
- Demonstrates ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions
- Demonstrates the capability of fluently speaking, reading, and writing in English, with additional languages [Preferred]
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients/clients/families served
- Bachelor's of Nursing [Required]
- Master's [Preferred]
- in Business Administration, in Nursing, or in Health Services Administration
- 2+ Circulator/Scrub nurse experience [Required]
- 2+ healthcare leadership [Required]
- 5+ experience [Preferred]
- Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) [Preferred]
Compensation
- Base pay: $117,377.21 - $218,316.07/yr
