Custodian - Secondary Bldg Eng

About the Role

The custodian will monitor and perform required inspections for various systems within the building while developing good community relations. This role involves physical tasks, including lifting and extensive walking, to ensure a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and execute daily work orders as needed.
• Assist in the implementation of energy management strategies as required.
• Maintain a working knowledge of facility operations including HVAC systems.
• Set up building facilities for meetings and events.
• Remove snow and ice from walkways and play areas as required.
• Inspect building, grounds, and equipment to determine repair and maintenance needs.

Requirements

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 5-100 pounds frequently.
• Knowledge of cleaning and restorative materials and equipment.
• Good physical stamina for extensive walking and standing.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
