Campus Security Specialist - Evening

About the Role

This position provides a positive role model for students and develops and promotes relationships with the community. The specialist will enforce school rules and maintain a peaceful environment for students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Enforce Student Conduct and Discipline Code and other school rules and regulations.
• Work collaboratively with all school staff to include visitor management and door monitoring.
• Monitor and supervise students’ activities at assigned locations to enforce parking regulations.
• Assess danger and intervene to halt fights or disturbances and ensure order is restored.
• Secure campus after hours and monitor ingress points, using alarm systems and checking doors before leaving the building.

Requirements

• One (1) to three (3) years job related experience preferred in law enforcement or similar activities.
• High School or Equivalent (Required).
• First Aid/CPR Certification.
