Responsibilities

• Provides hearing screening and additional audiometric assessments to District students; Responsible for establishment and maintenance of all student hearing records.
• parents and other school and medical personnel); provide training as needed.
• --- Maintain knowledge of various current and/or new assistive technologies and connectivity with student personal amplification systems.
• --- Manage hearing assistive technology equipment and diagnostic biomedical devices, including maintenance, delivery, and set-up at various sites within the District; troubleshoot, diagnose and repair equipment problems.
• Help perform annual equipment calibration working with audiologists and outside vendors to assure all equipment is in compliance with state regulations.
• --- Provide clerical support including planning, scheduling and coordinating daily and/or long range specialized testing, training materials and maintaining an extensive equipment inventory.
