The Original Castle Rock Farmers Market
- When: Saturdays, June 20 – October 3, 2026 (Saturday before Father's Day through the first Saturday of October), 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- Where: Douglas County Fairgrounds, Upper Parking Lot, 500 Fairgrounds Drive, Castle Rock
- Cost: Free to browse; pay individual vendors

- Website: originalcastlerockfarmersmarket.com
The Original Castle Rock Farmers Market has been running every Saturday morning at the Douglas County Fairgrounds for more than 30 years. It is the older of Castle Rock's two farmers markets and the one to hit if you want a serious produce-and-pantry run rather than a brunch-adjacent stroll. Setup is in the upper parking lot at the fairgrounds, which means easy free parking and a wide-open footprint that fits a deep vendor lineup.
Vendors listed on the organizer's site include Snow Creek Ranch Steaks (Black Angus beef), Styria II Bakery (Alpine-style breads and pastries), C&R Farms (Colorado peaches), Sandy's Way Microfarm, Tamales Lady (handmade, gluten-free), Mauro Farm & Bakery, Spinfire Roasting Company (fresh-roasted chiles), Edelweiss Sourdough, Syed Farms (halal meats, poultry, eggs), the CSU Master Gardener booth, the Coffee Bus, Soda Jerk, Apothekerry, Albinelli Blends balsamic and olive oil, and DAR Chocolate. The organizer's page notes new farmers and ranchers sign up throughout the season, so the mix rotates week to week.
Best time to go: 8 a.m. for the widest produce selection. The market closes promptly at noon — earlier than the Festival Park market — so plan accordingly.
Pair It With
The Fairgrounds aren't in walking distance of downtown CR — most Saturday-morning visitors drive in and out. If you're making a half-day of it, downtown Castle Rock has the deepest brunch options: Wide Awake Eatery, B&B Cafe, Castleview Cafe, or Pegasus.
Castle Rock Farmers Market at Festival Park
- When: Sundays, May 24 – October 11, 2026, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- Where: Festival Park, 302 Second Street, downtown Castle Rock
- Cost: Free to browse; pay individual vendors
Festival Park sits at 302 Second Street in downtown Castle Rock. The market sets up along the park's open lawn and the surrounding walkways.
Brunch Nearby
Union off Wilcox and Courtyard Social off Perry are the closest sit-down brunch spots. If you're not finding what you want, grab a coffee from Apres Coffee and a bagel from BAGL.
Best time to go: arrive between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. for the widest vendor selection. By 1 p.m. on a popular weekend, the most-popular vendors start selling out.
Parker Farmers Market

- When: Sundays, Mother's Day (May 10) through October 25, 2026, 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. (Halloween 2026 is a Saturday — the last Sunday is Oct 25.)
- Where: Mainstreet in downtown Parker, east of Parker Road / CO-83 and west of Pine. Victorian Drive stays open for turners.
- Cost: Free to browse
- Vendors: 100+ during peak season
- Heads up: No market on June 14, 2026 (Parker Days Festival weekend)
The Parker Farmers Market runs Sunday mornings on Mainstreet in downtown Parker from Mother's Day through the last Sunday of October. It runs east of Parker Road / CO-83 and west of Pine; Victorian Drive stays open if you need to turn through it.
A Few Vendors We Saw
From our 5/17 visit: Royal Crest Dairy, Miller Farms, Messer Cattle Company, Black Gold Family Farm, Mile High Pie Guy, Tlaquesalsa, Cooper's Small Batch, Peak Provisions Pierogi, Homestead Hills Harvest, Rocking Do Ranch, Flèche Healthy Treats. On the drink side, Sati Coffee pours cold brew — the cinnamon-maple-oat is the call. For flowers, Sunflower Sky Farm had tulips on the table on opening day. Vendor mix rotates week to week.
Brunch on the Way In or Out
The Parker Farmers Market sits in the middle of one of the strongest restaurant blocks in Douglas County — there is no shortage of brunch within a one-block walk. A few standouts:
- Poulette Bakeshop — obviously we'd recommend Poulette for the baked goods, but expect a massive line.
- Marvin's Place — minimal café at The Juniper. No WiFi by design. Pastries from Poulette, espresso program built around it.
- Parker Garage — weekend brunch with an outdoor patio (reservations recommended).
- Black+Haus Tavern — American tavern with comfort food + patio.
- Tailgate Tavern — when we walked by at 10:30 a.m. this past weekend (5/17) the patio was already packed.
- Playa Bowls — also at The Juniper. Açaí bowls, smoothies, grab and go.
Best time to go: arrive on the early side (8 to 9:30 a.m.) for the widest vendor selection. The market wraps at 1 p.m. — earlier than the Festival Park or HR Town Center markets. Note: there is no market on Sunday, June 14, 2026, because the corridor is closed for the Parker Days Festival that weekend.
Highlands Ranch Farmers Market

Abeille Truck flower display at the Highlands Ranch Town Center market, 5/17/2026.
- When: Sundays, May 3 – November 1, 2026, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. (or sellout)
- Where: Highlands Ranch Town Center, 9288 Dorchester Street, Highlands Ranch
- Cost: Free to browse
- Organizer: Metro Denver Farmers Market
- Website: denverfarmersmarket.com
The Highlands Ranch Farmers Market runs every Sunday at HR Town Center from May 3 through November 1, 2026. It's operated by Metro Denver Farmers Market, the same operator that runs the Wednesday Sterling Ranch market and several others across the metro.
A Few Vendors We Saw
From the 5/17 visit at Town Center: Martindale Farms, Peak Health Center, Kogler's Bakery, Itzuu Tacos, Styria Bakery, TruBucha (kombucha), Garden Coffee Co., Tiger Den Tea, La Montagne (French bread). We also spotted Abeille Truck — a renovated mini-truck stocked with fresh flowers (pictured above). We didn't make opening weekend so we can't say if they're there every Sunday — they were there on 5/17.
Free parking at Town Center. Garden Coffee Co. is right at the market itself if you need a coffee stop.
Sterling Ranch Farmers Market
- When: Wednesdays, June 24 – October 14, 2026, 3 – 7 p.m. (or sellout)
- Where: Providence Park, 8100 Piney River Avenue, Sterling Ranch
- Cost: Free to browse
- Organizer: Metro Denver Farmers Market
- Website: denverfarmersmarket.com
Sterling Ranch's Wednesday afternoon market is at Providence Park off Piney River Avenue, in the Sterling Ranch master-planned community. The 3-to-7 p.m. window is built around the post-work pickup — produce, prepared food, and dinner-tonight options on the way home. Free parking. Watch for late-afternoon Colorado thunderstorms in July and August.
The market is run by Metro Denver Farmers Market, the same team that operates the Highlands Ranch Sunday market.
Pair It With
The natural after-market stop is Living the Dream Taproom right in Sterling Ranch — taps and patio just minutes from Providence Park. For a longer dinner, Highlands Ranch is northeast (~10 min) and downtown Castle Rock is southeast (~15 min).
The Larkspur Farmers Market

- Where: Larkspur Community Park, 8820 Spruce Mountain Road, Larkspur, CO 80118
