Backcountry Hike

Cherokee Ranch's Backcountry Hike — a moderate-to-difficult, 4 to 5 mile guided hike on the historic Ranch. Hike a suitable distance for most people in good physical condition. Participants can expect rugged terrain, challenging conditions, and significant changes in elevation. We recommend that you wear long pants and have good hiking shoes or boots. All hikes require shoes that protect feet — sandals or shoes that do not cover the foot are not permitted.
