Dash Across the Dam Father's Day 5K

Parker Parks and Recreation's Father's Day weekend 5K runs and walks 3.1 miles across the Rueter-Hess Reservoir dam — one of the few public-access opportunities on the dam each year. Race begins at 8 a.m. from the south side. New for 2026: a post-race day pass on the water for personal watercraft (must pass inspection) and Surf'SUP rentals available onsite, so you can finish the run and get on the reservoir the same morning.
