Bluffs 8K Trail Run at Bluffs Regional Park

Rolling hills and Front Range views on a challenging 8K trail run through Bluffs Regional Park in Lone Tree, part of the South Suburban Race Series. The race starts and finishes near the Prairie Sky Park parking lot at 7:30 a.m. Parking is available at the Lone Tree Recreation Center.

The course is fine crushed gravel with some rugged, steep sections. Registration is $38.35 including fees ($35 adults, $25 youth 14 and under). The course closes after 1 hour 40 minutes, so organizers ask that you register only if you can hold at least a 20-minute-per-mile pace. No dogs or strollers. The first 250 registrants get mirrored sunglasses.

Packet pickup: Thursday, Aug. 27, 4–6 p.m. at Road Runner Sports (8457 S. Yosemite St., Lone Tree), or day-of at 6:45 a.m. at the South Suburban tent.
