Pedal the Moon

The Town of Castle Rock's annual Pedal the Moon twilight bike ride lights up East Plum Creek Trail. Depart from Castle View High School at 7 p.m. or Douglas County High School around 7:15 p.m. and ride roughly 6 miles of mostly flat terrain to Festival Park. Deck out your bike with lights, stop at the glow-in-the-dark decorating station, then grab a hot dog from the Boy Scouts and watch E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial on the big screen — new for 2026. Helmet, front headlamp, and rear blinker required. $14-$18 depending on age.
