What the job is
Castle Rock's Town Council is six Councilmembers and a Mayor. Councilmembers each represent a district, and only voters in that district get the race on their ballot; the Mayor is elected at large, so every Castle Rock voter gets this race. Town elections are nonpartisan, so no party appears next to a name on the ballot. Terms are four years, with a two-term limit; the Town's roster lists Mayor Jason Gray as termed out on Dec. 1, 2026. New terms begin in early December.
