No drop box in Sedalia or Franktown
Neither community has one. The closest boxes are in Castle Rock and Parker. Franktown does get a staffed polling center on November 2 and 3 at the Franktown Fire Pradera Station, 6120 Bridle Path Lane.
Are they secure?
The county says the 23 boxes put more than 90% of the population within three miles of one. Every box is bolted down, lit, and on 24/7 camera, and the county public-streams all of the cameras during an active election.

Voter Service and Polling Centers
Staffed locations, for anything a drop box can't do. They open in three waves.
A Voter Service and Polling Center is where you go if you need something more than a drop box: register to vote or update your registration, replace a lost or spoiled ballot, vote in person, or use an ADA-accessible voting machine. You can also just drop a voted ballot off.

Yes, at the Sterling Ranch Civic Center, 8155 Piney River Avenue. Be aware that the county lists it under "Littleton" on its own drop box page because that is the mailing address, so searching the county site for Sterling Ranch may not surface it.

No. Drop boxes are free. Postage only applies if you return your ballot through the mail, and in that case you pay it.
Yes. State law requires video surveillance, lighting, and recording during an election cycle. The boxes are weather-resistant metal bolted to the ground, and Douglas County goes further than the requirement by public-streaming all of the drop box cameras 24/7 during an active election.
A drop box takes a voted ballot and nothing else. A Voter Service and Polling Center is staffed, and it can register you to vote, replace a lost or spoiled ballot, let you vote in person, or give you an ADA-accessible machine. If you need anything beyond dropping off a completed ballot, go to a polling center.
