About
Magic Manor is an intimate, 90-seat magic theatre and event venue in Sedalia, about seven miles south of Castle Rock. It is the new home of Theatre of Dreams — after 23 years in Castle Rock, world-championship magicians Carol Massie and Joe Givan ("Dream Masterz") purchased and transformed the former Gabriel's Italian Restaurant, a Victorian property first built in 1908, into an immersive theatre and event center.
Only world-class performers are invited to the Magic Manor, so public shows run just a few weekends a month — close-up magic, stand-up comedy, live music, and the owners' own illusion work. Between shows there's the Magic Bar (bar magicians and small plates), Music on the Patio during happy hour, a Secret Circle paranormal experience for small groups, Wizard Camp magic classes for ages seven and up, and private-event and wedding rentals.
What To Expect:
- 🎩 World-class magic, comedy, and live music in a 90-seat room with no bad seats
- 🍸 The Magic Bar — sleight-of-hand up close, plus small plates and drinks
- 🏛️ A historic 1908 Victorian property on a garden setting with a gazebo and 64-space lot
- 👨👩👧 Family-friendly shows (no one under 6 at evening shows; under 18 with an adult) plus all-ages Sunday events
Also worth knowing: Magic Manor's sister venue, Theatre of Dreams in Castle Rock, remains available for private events.
