About
Monk & Mongoose at High Note opened in November 2025, the second Lone Tree location from founders Jared and Lindsay Keiffer (nine years after their original RidgeGate shop). It's inside the AVRA apartment building at RidgeGate Station, a short drive from the original location.
Like the original shop, High Note brews exclusively Sweet Bloom Coffee Roasters and pours loose-leaf Spirit Teas, with pastries and food rotating seasonally. There's no liquor license.
What To Expect:
- 🏔️ A loft area with a hand-painted mural of mountains, skiers, ice skaters, and snowboarders, plus a standing-height bartop with stools overlooking the main floor
- ☀️ Floor-to-ceiling windows on the main level bring in natural light — a larger, more open space than RidgeGate
- 🎤 Good acoustics upstairs — the loft has hosted live performers and a coffee art "latte art throwdown" competition (most recently held at COFF33)
- ☕ Espresso, cortado, latte, hand-brewed pour-over, batch brew, and cold brew — exclusively Sweet Bloom Coffee Roasters
- 🚪 After-hours space rental for private events (baby showers, holiday parties, and more) — $150 for the first two hours, $150 per hour after that
Important to Know:
- 📍 10920 High Note Ave, Suite 1-123, Lone Tree, CO 80124 — inside the AVRA building at RidgeGate Station
- 🕐 Open daily 6:30am–5:30pm
- 🍷 No liquor license

📍 Local Insights
🏔️ The Loft Mural Is the Draw: A hand-painted mountain scene — skiers, ice skaters, snowboarders — wraps the loft wall above a standing-height bartop with stools that fills up fast.
☀️ Bigger and Brighter Than RidgeGate: Floor-to-ceiling windows and a more open main floor make this the newer, larger of the two Lone Tree shops — expect it to get busy as the surrounding development fills in.
🎤 Acoustics Draw Live Performers: The loft's sound has hosted live music and a coffee-art "latte art throwdown" — a March-Madness-style bracket competition where baristas pour head-to-head for the best latte art.
🚪 Rent It After Hours: Space rental runs $150 for the first two hours and $150 per additional hour — baby showers, holiday parties, and other private events. Book at monkandmongoose.com/reserve.
📍 Not the Original Shop: This High Note location opened November 2025, newer than the founders' original RidgeGate location a few minutes away — both are worth a visit.
