Connor's Visit (2026): "There's just so much you can do there. It's crazy." We went on Sunday, September 27, the first weekend, and it wasn't too crowded. We caught the pig races (a bell, two heats and a lot of bad dad jokes), watched kids and, embarrassingly, parents rush the Candy Cannon, and hung out with the goats, piglets, ducks and the rest of the barnyard. Lone Creek Farms in Franktown runs a fall festival from September 25 through November 1, 2026, open Thursday through Sunday, plus Wednesday, October 14 for Douglas County Fall Break. Admission ($27.95, ages 3 and under free) covers 20+ attractions and live shows: pig races, the Candy Cannon, the Fire Truck Pumpkin Drop (Friday to Sunday) and the Main Street Shootout (weekends).

What To Expect:

🎃 Pumpkin patch, corn maze, hay wagon rides and the cow barrel train

🐖 Pig races, goats, mini donkeys, sheep, chickens and baby pigs

⛏️ The Lone Creek Matchless Mine: mine cart ride and panning for gold

🛝 Mega slide, inflatable slide, small zipline, pedal carts, rat rollers, tire swings, Tire Mountain and a giant slingshot

🤠 A western Main Street with a saloon (beer, wine and cider), a Candy Shoppe and a jail

✨ New for 2026: Harvest Glow Lights, Friday to Sunday nights starting October 2, included with admission

🐑 Mutton busting Saturdays and Sundays from October 17 through November 1 (ages 4 to 7, under 50 pounds, $52.95 including admission)

Important Information:

– Season pass $55.95, which pays for itself on the second visit

– Add-ons (trampoline bungee, apple cannon, paintball, escape rooms) cost extra and are closed Thursdays

– Thursday admission is $23.95; the light show does not run Thursdays

– Pumpkins are extra, $6 to $16 by size; no admission needed if you're only buying a pumpkin

– Bring your own food and drinks if you like; free parking; no pets (service animals only)

– No left turns into the farm: enter from the southbound side of Highway 83
