Parker has a new spot for food trucks. The Gathering Yard announced on Oct. 1 that it's officially in its soft opening and is now open Friday, Saturday and Sunday while it builds out its lineup.
It's a community food truck and vendor yard at 11023 S. Pikes Peak Dr., a short walk from Mainstreet Parker. Per its website, the idea is food trucks, local vendors, small businesses and community events, with room to grab a bite, shop and stay awhile, or take it to go.
Getting There
- Address: 11023 S. Pikes Peak Dr., Parker, CO 80138
- Finding it: it's behind the main building on the lot, so follow the signs
- Parking: street parking, or park in one of Parker's public lots and walk over
- Days: Friday, Saturday and Sunday during the soft opening
The trucks rotate, and the yard hasn't posted set daily hours yet. Check its event calendar or Instagram to see who's serving before you head over. No reservation needed, and it's family-friendly. Bring a chair or a blanket if you plan to hang out.
Grand Opening on Oct. 30
The official kickoff is the Grand Opening + Fall Festival on Friday, Oct. 30, from 5 to 8 PM, with food trucks and local vendors.
Food Trucks and Vendors Wanted
The Gathering Yard is still filling its lineup. Food trucks, makers and small businesses can set up free through Oct. 21 as part of its trial period. After that, its posted vendor rate is $50 a day or $100 for a Friday-to-Sunday weekend. Submit a vendor inquiry at thegatheringyardparker.com or email [email protected]. Spots for the Fall Festival are limited.
