Castle Rock Road Work Starts Late March

Town Council approved $19 million for pavement maintenance this year. About 100 lane miles will be repaved, mostly in the northern part of town.

What to Expect

When: Late March through fall 2026
Where: Primarily northern Castle Rock
Coverage: ~100 lane miles

Expect delays on affected streets. The work is part of Castle Rock's annual Pavement Maintenance Program, which helps extend the life of the town's 788 lane miles of roadway.

Why It Matters

Road maintenance isn't exciting, but it's cheaper than reconstruction. The program extends pavement life and keeps roads in better condition long-term. It's largely funded by sales tax.

If you commute through north Castle Rock, plan for some disruption this spring and summer.
