Parker's proposed 2027 budget is posted for public review, with Town Council's public hearing on adoption set for Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2026, during its regularly scheduled meeting, according to a Town of Parker CivicAlert posted Oct. 14, 2026.

How to review it or attend

The Town says residents can review the proposed budget at ParkerCO.gov/Budget, or go directly to the 2027 Proposed Budget document. The Nov. 2 hearing can be attended in person at Parker Town Hall or watched on the Town's YouTube page, @TownOfParkerCO.

What's in the General Fund

The budget document breaks Parker's finances into several funds — the General Fund, special revenue funds, capital projects funds, debt service funds, an enterprise (stormwater) fund and internal service funds. The General Fund, which covers day-to-day operations like police, parks, public works and administration, proposes:

  • Total revenues: $92,192,925 for 2027, up 6% from the 2026 amended budget ($87,148,144)
  • Total expenditures: $89,149,885 for 2027, up 2% from the 2026 amended budget ($87,362,754)
  • Salary and benefits: $43,658,865, up 2% from 2026

Sales tax drives most of that revenue. The document shows $73,184,000 in total 2027 tax revenue, with sales taxes alone budgeted at $64,711,000 (up 7% from 2026). Real property tax revenue is comparatively small, at $3,799,000 for 2027.

The document doesn't give a single townwide total across all of Parker's funds; the figures above cover the General Fund only.

What's next

The Town's budget process runs through public study sessions, where Council and staff discuss budget requests, major capital projects and new staff positions, before Council holds a public hearing and votes on adoption. That hearing is scheduled for Nov. 2, 2026.
