Castle Rock Mayor Jason Gray delivers his final State of the Town on Thursday, Oct. 1 at 6 p.m. at the Cantril School, 312 Cantril St. — closing out eight years as the Town's first elected at-large mayor.
The Town is leaning into the farewell: the presentation is branded G.O.A.T. — Greatest Overview of All Things Castle Rock — and attendees can meet and pet goats before it begins. The event is free and family-friendly, and the presentation itself runs about 40 minutes.
"I hope residents will join me for my final State of the Town as we celebrate what's been accomplished and highlight the projects taking shape across our community," Gray said in the Town's announcement.
What he'll cover
Per the Town, the presentation covers updates on public safety, parks and recreation, roadwork, water projects, and development initiatives — the year-in-review format the State of the Town has always taken, this time with an eight-year lens behind it.
Getting there
Parking at the Cantril School is limited. The Town encourages attendees to park at the Encore garage (Perry and South streets) and ride the free Town Trolley, running 5:15–7 p.m.
