Free Rideshare Is Coming to Parker in April

Parker residents are getting access to Link On Demand, Douglas County's free rideshare service, starting in April 2026.

What Is Link On Demand?

Link On Demand works like Uber or Lyft, but it's completely free. You download the app, request a ride, and a driver picks you up in about 10-15 minutes. No fare, no tipping required.

The service is already running in Lone Tree and Highlands Ranch, where it completed 72,000 trips last year with a 4.9-star rating. Douglas County just approved $4.4 million to expand the program to Parker and Stonegate.

How It Works

  • Download the Link On Demand app
  • Request a ride (pickup and destination within service area)
  • Wait 10-15 minutes for your driver
  • Ride for free

Hours: 6 days a week (Sundays off)
Who can use it: Anyone 13 and older

Why It Matters

For Parker residents without a car, or families juggling one vehicle, this is a practical transportation option that didn't exist before. Seniors, teens, and anyone who prefers not to drive can now get around town without coordinating rides or paying for Uber.

The service area covers Parker and Stonegate. Exact boundaries will be announced closer to launch.

Castle Rock May Be Next

Castle Rock Town Council recently moved forward on a one-year pilot program for Link On Demand in their area. If approved, Castle Rock would join the network later in 2026.
