Link On Demand Is Now Live in Parker

Parker and Stonegate residents now have access to Link On Demand, Douglas County's free rideshare service. The service launched April 8, 2026, with a kickoff event at O'Brien Park, in a partnership between the Town of Parker, Douglas County, the City of Lone Tree, Highlands Ranch, and the rideshare provider Via. What Is Link On Demand?
Link On Demand works like Uber or Lyft, but it's completely free. You download the app, request a ride, and a driver picks you up in about 10-15 minutes. No fare, no tipping required.
The service is already running in Lone Tree and Highlands Ranch, where it completed 72,000 trips last year with a 4.9-star rating. Douglas County commissioners approved $4.4 million in February to continue those services and expand the program east into Stonegate and Parker, with the Town of Parker contributing $250,000 toward the expansion. Why It Matters
For Parker residents without a car, or families juggling one vehicle, this is a practical transportation option that didn't exist before. Seniors, teens, and anyone who prefers not to drive can now get around town without coordinating rides or paying for Uber.
The Parker service area reaches east to Parker Road — including the Crown Point area and AdventHealth Parker Hospital — and covers downtown Parker. On the west side it extends into Highlands Ranch just past Santa Fe Drive, and the southern edge reaches Hess Road. (Denver Gazette)
Castle Rock Is Next
Link On Demand is officially coming to Castle Rock too. Town Council approved the intergovernmental agreement on April 21, 2026, and Douglas County commissioners followed up by approving a roughly $2 million contract on July 14, 2026, to bring the service online as a one-year pilot, expected to begin this summer. It's funded by the Colorado Department of Transportation ($1.125 million), the Town of Castle Rock ($400,000), and Douglas County ($466,720), and will be run by River North Transit LLC. Planned hours match the rest of the network: Monday through Thursday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Saturday 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. (Colorado Politics)
