Emagine Parker Opens July 1 — Emagine's First Colorado Theater
Parker's shuttered movie theater is coming back to life under a new name. The former AMC Classic Twenty Mile 10 at 18625 Stage Run reopens Wednesday, July 1 as Emagine Parker — the first Colorado location for Michigan-based Emagine Entertainment, capping a full renovation of the 32,000-square-foot building.
It's a notable upgrade for a space that had been dark since last fall. AMC closed the Twenty Mile location in September 2025, steering Parker moviegoers toward its Arapahoe Crossing 16 in Aurora. Emagine signed on to take over the building and gut-renovate it into what the company calls a "reimagined entertainment destination."
The images on this page are official Emagine renderings provided by the company. They show the intended design, not photos of the finished Parker theater.
What's New Inside
Emagine has rebuilt the theater around premium presentation and a full food-and-drink experience — a different bet than the older, no-frills setup it replaced:
- 10 auditoriums, two of them premium large-format EMX screens with wall-to-wall picture, 4K projection, and Dolby Atmos sound
- Heated luxury recliners in every auditorium
- A full-service bar pouring craft cocktails, beer, and wine
- Expanded concessions and gathering spaces built for hanging out before and after a show
- Emagine's first-ever self-ordering kiosks, which the company plans to roll out to other locations if the Parker debut goes well
The chain has also said a later phase will carve out a dedicated space for live local music and performances.
Opening-Week Lineup
Emagine says opening week will mix major studio releases, family favorites, and specialty programming. Titles announced for the launch include Toy Story 5, Minions & Monsters, Supergirl, Disclosure Day, and jackass: best and last. Tickets are on sale now, with full showtimes on the official theater page.
More Than Movies
Emagine Parker isn't just for showtimes. Per the official theater page, the auditoriums and spaces are bookable for a range of private and group events:
- Corporate events — big-screen presentations, meetings, and team gatherings
- Private events — wedding showers, bachelor/bachelorette parties, anniversaries
- Auditorium rentals — holiday parties, independent film screenings, and more
- School groups — field trips for local classes
- Children's birthday parties
Bookings run through the event request form on Emagine Parker's page. For a town that just lost its only theater, that's a flexible new venue for everything from a company offsite to a kid's birthday.
A Benefit Night Before the Public Opening
The night before it opens to the public, Emagine Parker hosts a private, invitation-only celebration on June 30 benefiting HopeKids Colorado, a nonprofit that runs events and builds community for families raising a child with cancer or another life-threatening condition. The evening includes an early screening of Young Washington and proceeds that fund a private movie day for local HopeKids families.
A Perk for Loyalty Members
As part of the launch, Emagine is dangling a switch-over offer: bring a loyalty membership from any other theater brand and get a free year of Emagine Rewards Extras, the company's premium tier with added perks and discounts. It's a clear play for moviegoers who've been driving to Aurora or Lone Tree since the AMC closed.
What Tickets Cost
Pricing is on the approachable side for a luxury-recliner house. According to Emagine's own responses to customer questions, recliner tickets run about $13.95 for adults and $10.95 for children and seniors — so yes, there's a senior rate, and it matches the kids' price. The best deal is for members: Emagine Rewards members pay just $5 on Tuesdays. Prices can vary by film, showtime, and format (EMX and other premium screens may cost more), so confirm the final price at checkout.
Why It Matters for Parker
Emagine runs 27 theaters and more than 330 screens across the Midwest, and Parker is its planting-the-flag move in Colorado. The reopening also fills one of the larger vacant anchors near Twenty Mile — and it lands right as downtown Parker is in the middle of a building boom. Cerebral Brewing is bringing a taproom to Mainstreet, Cask & Trotter is opening at The Juniper, and the town's summer calendar keeps filling out. In the company's own framing, owner Jon Goldstein called Parker "a vibrant community" and said the goal was "a gathering place where friends and families can enjoy movies, entertainment, and hospitality in a truly elevated way."
