Dough Counter makes two pizza styles: a crispy-edged Sicilian pan pizza and a hand-tossed New York style pie with a well-done bottom. The dough gets five simple ingredients, five days to cold-rise, and a 24-hour warm proof. Beyond pizza: hand-breaded chicken strips, starters (mozzarella sticks, garlic bread bites, garlic dippers, Sicilian cheese bread), salads (Simple, Caesar, Loaded Antipasto, Mandarin Chicken, Cobb) and desserts (peanut butter brownie, bumpy cake, celebration cake, galactic brownie, frosted chocolate chip cookies). Gluten-free and vegan options are on the menu, including a gluten-free Sicilian pizza and gluten-free desserts.

It's counter service — order at the register, no reservations. Online ordering for pickup runs through Toast.

Dough Counter is run by the family behind Marco's Coal-Fired Pizza: Mark and Kristy Dym, their kids Zack Dym and Samantha Monterosso, and "bonus child" Jaime Avina. It's the chain's second location; the first is at 2466 S. Colorado Blvd, Suite 101, in Denver's University Hills neighborhood.
