About the Role

In this role, you will contribute to project success by helping maintain and improve company standards and tools. You will utilize your understanding of design documentation and work flexibly across assignments, while exhibiting a growth mindset in your technical and professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of designs for assigned structure(s) including research, system selection, analysis, and drawing preparation.
  • Apply department and industry standards when preparing calculations, project drawings, and project specifications.
  • Leverage Building Information Modeling (BIM) to create plans, drawings, and details.
  • Incorporate the requirements of contracts and customer RFPs to meet project goals.
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners to address structural-related issues or concerns.
  • Support department managers in achieving performance goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited university (Master's coursework preferred).
  • 0-2 years’ experience in Structural Design engineering in the Industrial and Water industry.
  • Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, word processing, and engineering software.
  • Knowledge and experience in engineering software such as RISA 3D and CSI SAP2000.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
