Structural Designer - Steel/Concrete Structures

About the Role

Kiewit Industrial and Water Engineering is expanding its team to include mid- to senior-level Structural Designers to support engineering and construction projects. The role involves developing Revit models and contributing to structural design excellence.

Responsibilities

• Perform 3D designs of concrete and structural steel for industrial facilities using Revit and Navisworks
• Coordinate with design group members to review and exchange project information
• Develop and manage project information while ensuring compliance with standards
• Maintain project design documentation through all phases of design and construction
• Check designs for consistency, safety, operability, and maintenance before submission
• Mentor other team members in design and modeling techniques

Requirements

• 5+ years of structural design experience in steel and concrete structures using Revit or similar
• 2+ years of professional experience in Navisworks and proficiency in Autodesk and MS products
• Experience designing foundations and related structures in industrial facilities
• Ability to manage complex BIM/ACC projects
• Strong communication skills with team members and other disciplines
